In this episode we are joined by Nigerian musician Uche Agu who was born in Onitsha, in Ambra State of Nigeria. Uche grew up in a musical family and at an early age would take to the stage and demonstrate his talent. He later planned to study law at the University of Port Harcourt as he hoped to pursue a legal career, but he never got to realise this as his love for music and his calling to pursue it took over. He received his big break when he came to South Africa and after trying for a while was introduced to one of Africa’s biggest gospel choirs – Joyous Celebration where he became popular after he led the song My God is goodooo. He tells us how his life changed from pursuing a law degree to becoming a music sensation.
