Today is the third day of the shutdown. North West University in Mahikeng have had to close down yesterday and send students home following violent protests. Violence in UKZN and POLICE, students and KwaZulu-Natal security guards engaged in running battles as UKZN students demanded that issues including historical debt be dealt with.
