Moosaa Richardson discusses the concept of using the Quran (instead of Hadeeth Sciences) to determine what is authentic and what is not from Hadeeth literature. Indeed, the Quran is a "Furqaan" (criterion) between truth and falsehood, however, is this approach something that was understood by the Muslim scholars throughout history? Or is it a newly-invented matter of misguidance?
