I am an elementary school librarian in a Title 1 school. I long to make more connections with students, staff and the community about how to do amazing things in our school. My goal is to distribute podcasts about issues that relate to school libraries and literacy.

In 2019,, I started a book club for 5th grade African American boys who struggle with discipline issues. In this podcast episode, we share how it went, what we did, and what we learned. 

I did not get to release this episode to our school then, so I am re releasing it.
