Alishan is a forested mountain in Taiwan’s southwest. It’s known for its ancient trees, its cool tea plantations, and its views of the morning sun breaking through thick cloud that form far down the slopes. This magical place is the home of the indigenous Tsou People. Alongside the misty scenery and fine local tea, it is the chance to experience Tsou culture that makes Alishan one of Taiwan’s biggest tourist attractions.
