I woke from a dream where I was smoking as I was saying “I don’t smoke” in the dream to a disbelieving friend, but, by the time I finished the sentence I was awake saying it out loud and telling the truth, to myself. I haven’t smoked a cigarette since June 14, 2002, except in dreams, still.
