Some of the troubles we face in life are so serious that we end up looking for answers from God. Things can get so bad with no hope for a positive solution. We pray and still suffer from the same issue.

Why does God allow evil to continue? Why did He allow my beloved person to die? Did they have to die such a painful death? Why does God let us suffer all kinds of sicknesses. These are life’s battles that leaves us with unanswered questions and broken hearts.

Well, you and I are not the only ones that have suffered. Most of the biblical characters have faced challenges of some kind in their lifetime.

Daniel and his three companions lived in captivity in Babylon most of their lives, though they were God fearing people.

This is a first in this series on the lessons from the book of Daniel. A battle of two kingdoms. The sovereignty of God. The opportunity to raise the banner of the Lord even in the midst of trouble.
