Filmmaker David Delaney Mayer and sculptor/metal worker Morgan Kelley sat down to talk about Kelley's process of taking doodles and creating stunning works of art.

Morgan Kelley is a sculptor and metal worker from the Eastern Shore of Maryland where she has a studio filled with all shapes of metal and metal working tools. I met her on a warm afternoon after she had finished her morning routine. Her mornings are spent doodling on pads of papers, and her afternoons are spent welding, bending, and shaping metal to her will. Trained as an industrial welder, Kelley has an amazing ability to shape metal to reveal subtle parts of human emotions.
