"Be still and know that I am God; supreme among the nations, supreme over all the earth" (Psalm 46:10) - what must the disciples have thought when, as told in Mark's Gospel, they saw Jesus rebuke the wind and the sea - and these obeyed? "Master, do you not care that we are perishing? (Mk. 4:38)" The profound question the disciples put forth as they were being tossed about in the boat is one which we must all confront in life - do we really trust in the Lord and have faith that He does in fact care about us? That He will indeed come to our rescue?
