In Surah Qalam, the ‘Companions of the Garden’ inherited an awesome garden from their generous father, however they decided to instead be stingy. As a result, Allah ﷻ destroyed the entire garden. (They learned their lesson, were penitent, and received a better garden in return.)

Moral of the story: remember Allah ﷻ and be generous.
