Growth starts small, in the form of a seed.
A seed does not grow, until it has been planted.
While growth takes resources like water, soil and sunlight,
the most important resource of all is
.
.
.
wait for it
.
.
.
time.
It doesn’t matter how much you water a seed right away.
That seed won’t grow unless you give it the time of day.
If you want a seed to grow into something significant,
you need to start now.
Find soil, and plant a seed.
Make a plan to water that seed.
Give it the resources it needs day in day out.
If you won’t be near that seed for an extended period of time,
find a friend to help you tend to that seed.
Give them a plan to water, and prune the plant,
to ensure that they care for it in a way that promotes growth.
If you give them the right plan,
you may even be able to find other seeds to plant,
so that the growth continues
and continues
and continues.
If your plan focused on giving the plant it’s necessary resources
and you consistently followed that plan,
one day you will wake up and realize,
that the tiny,
insignificant,
helpless seed that you planted years ago,
has now turned into a forest of trees.
Trees that provide food and shelter for those in need.
Trees that give your family a place to meet.
Trees that children climb and grow strong limbs.
All because,
one day,
long long ago,
you decided to plant a seed.
Knowing that this seed would one day
turn into something extraordinary.
