This podcast is a response to a debate about which learning theory is the best.  When educating people, the best learning theory is the narrativist & culturist learning theory which takes into account language and culture and how our brains process information and grow through community and storytelling.  This theory tops the behaviorist theories that were founded as a result of testing the behaviors of rats and dogs and terrorized infants  - what kind of teaching/learning is that???  Narrativist/Culturist theories also top cognitivist theories because these theories really just provide a framework of the processes of learning - none of which can occur if narrativist/culturist theory is disregarded.  This cognitivist theory of putting the puzzle pieces together to see the whole, while an effective theory, if the narrativist/culturist theory is overlooked, the context of the "whole picture" is meaningless, and thusly cancels the fruitfulness of the learning.  The best and ultimate learning theory is the narrativist/culturist learning theory!  Debate over!
