Welcome back to another school year! It’s hard to believe it’s September already. As my garden overflows with tomatoes and the days grow shorter, we’re gearing up for an exciting month of content focused on “Becoming a Professional.”
As law students, it’s easy to get caught up in books and exams, sometimes forgetting that you’re training to become lawyers. I remember standing in front of my closet before my 1L summer internship wondering how to dress myself for work after a year of being a student. (And, I had even been a professional before law school!). We often don’t picture ourselves in the workplace until we are getting ready to walk in the door.
This month, we’ll explore what that really means, featuring special guests who’ll share insights on beginning your professional life.
Here’s what we have in store:
