Perspective - a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.

This week I want to challenge your perspective. Many people want to experience happiness, but they don't know how. If you are anything like me, you may need to shift your perspective from a place of the “What about me” mentality at times, to a place of selflessness and focus more on blessing others. Learn to express your gratitude for the good things in your life. This will undoubtedly lead to times of happiness.

Embracing those moments of happiness strengthens and encourages us. It helps to prepare us, and encourages us for when we do have to face difficult situations. Then, in times of tests and trials we have the strength and hope to encourage ourselves.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:37).

We can choose and purpose in our hearts to experience more of those happy moments, where nothing else matters – even if we have to go look for it. YOU deserve happiness. Choose happiness, unapologetically.

Remember, if God said it, then That Settles It.
