In today’s episode, our host Iris Adira is joined with Jui Shankar, a senior psychotherapist who has had a longstanding focus on peace-building and social justice issues and contributing to mental health accessibility has brought her to work nationally (including North-Eastern India), and internationally in Papua New Guinea, Iraq and Cyprus.
Her work has extended to different contexts and positions from a mental health specialist with Medecins sans Frontiers (MSF), to an Assistant Professor with Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts (SSLA) and Middle East Technical University (METU), Northern Cyprus Campus. Jui currently works as a senior psychotherapist at Unalome, a private psychology praxis based out of Pune, India, and is a visiting faculty at Savitribai Phule University, Pune.
