Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Sredojevic says it is really too much that his side gets knocked out of cup games through penalties. Sredojevic said this following Pirates’ exit from the Nedbank cup at the hands of Black Leopards in a penalty shoot-out after their last 32 encounter ended 1-1 in 120 minutes. This is the third domestic cup they have been booted out of following the defeat to SuperSport United in the MTN8 final and the Telkom Knockout Final loss to Baroka FC. Sredojevic says they need to look at themselves. Sredojevic further adds that the trip to Thohoyandou was a test of character for the Buccaneers calling the venue a hostile environment. Much as the Soweto side lost the coach believes crowds like Li Doda Duvha faithful are a good mental preparation for CAF Champions league trips.
