Bloemfontein Celtic players will not be getting much rest this Christmas as Head coach Steve Komphela has put his side on a tight program in preparations for their first Absa Premiership game on the 4th of January 2019. Phunyana Sele Sele will face Chippa United at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in East London. However, the showdown in East London will be preceded by the team’s final game against Cape Town City this Saturday at the Cape Town Stadium. Komphela says the strict program is necessary. Celtic is currently seventh on the log table with 21 points from 14 matches. They have suffered losses in the last three matches and conceded a total of seven goals in the process. Komphela admits that the side suffered a blow in their defence after losing Alfred Ndengane to Orlando Pirates.
