Supersport United Coach Kaitano Tembo says he is looking forward to facing his Mamelodi Sundowns’ counterpart Pitso Mosimane, when the two teams lock horns in an Absa premiership match at the Lucas Moripe stadium in Atteridgeville on Sunday afternoon. Tembo played under Mosimane at Matsatsantsa when he captained the team in the early 2000s. It will be the first time Tembo is meeting Mosimane as head coach after he was appointed full time in August. Supersport have not beaten Sundowns in the past nine matches. Last season they drew 1-1 in the second round but lost 2-0 in the first round. Tembo believes that the derby is one sided but hoping to change that. Matsatsantsa are lying in fourth position with 19 points on the log, above the Brazilians in fifth place with 18 points and one match less. Sundowns have not lost in the league since last season in January against Orlando Pirates. Tembo is hoping his team will break the ice.
