Banyana Banyana have cruised to the COSAFA Women’s Championships semi-finals after humiliating Malawi 6-0 during the last Group A game played at the Wolfson stadium in Port Elizabeth yesterday, 17 Sep 2018. In what was Janine Van Wyk’s record 150th game, her teammate at Houston Dash in the US, Linda Motlhalo scored a hat-trick to walk away with the lady of the match award. The win sees Banyana maintaining a 100% winning record in the tournament and finish on top of Group A with nine points. They will meet Group C winners Uganda in the last four on Thursday (15:30) and head coach Desiree Ellis was all smiles after this clinical performance.
