Kaizer Chiefs produced a clinical performance as they advanced to the MTN8 semi-finals thumping Free State Stars 3-0 at the FNB stadium Saturday night. Playing a good brand of football, the hosts created numerous chances and were able to convert them. Goals from Dumisani Zuma, Leonardo Castro and Khama Billiat were all Chiefs needed on the day. Following a disappointing start to the Absa Premiership, head coach Giovanni Solinas was excited with yesterday’s win. Amakhosi’s victory though came at a price as they lost two players Joseph Molangoane and Siphelele Ntshangase on serious injuries. Molangoamne’s injury looks more serious and Solinas say the players are shocked.
