Black Leopards collected maximum points on their return match in the Premier Soccer League defeating Polokwane City 1-0 in their 2018/19 Absa Premiership season opener at the Peter Mokaba stadium last night. Karabo Tshepe scored the only goal of the match from a set-piece in the 12th minute. This was followed by numerous missed chances by the home side in the Limpopo derby. The second stanza was a dull affair though City tried to push forward without success. Leopards coach Joel Masutha is happy his players coped well in the match. Masutha does not want the victory to go to his charges head saying matches are different however they should continue to play fearlessly. The coach stuck with a tried and tested squad for his season opener however handed Tsheamo Mashoena a debut in the starting 11 and Masutha was impressed with the left-back’s efforts.
