The attempted murder case involving Black Leopards team manager Elijah Mulaudzi and former coach Ivan Minnaert was postponed for the last final time in the Polokwane Magistrate’s court this morning. Mulaudzi is accused of trying to run Minnaert over with a car in November last year following the coach’s dismissal from his post. The matter has already been postponed four times and the final postponement for a regional court date is 1 August 2018. Mulaudzi’s lawyer Lot Ramusi told the magistrate that the situation is unfair on his client considering that the complainant has not been in the country to attend court proceedings. In a separate case also in the same court, Minnaert is accused of theft by the club and there is a warrant of arrest out for him for not attending that case. Ramusi hopes the final postponement will result in the charges against Mulaudzi being dropped.
