The events of the past two months that have led to the postponement of the SAFA elections have not gone unnoticed and the SAFA Council itself has learnt a lesson. One of the main positives to have come out of this is that the organization has now decided to amend its constitution which was too restrictive on who should contest the elections. SAFA Council member and Chairperson of the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee Simphiwe Xaba in this wide ranging interview with Velile Mbuli also addressed some of the contentious rules on the SAFA electoral code.
