Judgement has been reserved for Wednesday in the SAFA arbitration matter over Tendai Ndoro’s eligibility to play for Ajax Cape Town. The arbitration which was chaired by Advocate Nazeer Cassim SC took place in Sandton today. The PSL had appealed after its Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) had ruled in January that Ndoro who joined Ajax in December was eligible to play. The issue is about a FIFA ruling which stipulates that a player cannot play for more than two teams in a single season calendar. Ndoro had played for Orlando Pirates at the beginning of the season, then moved to King Faisaly in Saudi Arabia before coming to Ajax. Dennis Sibuyi of DMS Attorneys represented the PSL and states their argument in this case.
