Zimbabwean international Tendai Ndoro has been cleared to continue playing in the PSL with Ajax Cape Town. There had been questions raised over Ndoro’s eligibility for the Urban Warriors following revelations that he may have contravened a FIFA rule that disallows players from playing at three clubs in one season. Ndoro had played in one game for Orlando Pirates earlier this season, before moving to Al-Faisaly in Saudi Arabia before his return to South Africa to join Ajax. But after an emergency hearing with the PSL’s DRC this week, Ndoro has been cleared to play. Ajax CEO Ari Efstathiou says he is relieved that the matter has now been resolved, and that Ndoro can now focus on his football.
