It was a show of force and power as Mamelodi Sundowns President Patrice Motsepe paraded the club’s four new signings today and most importantly the club’s new Head of Technical Erik Hamren at the club’s headquarters in Chloorkop. Motsepe is clear that the 2016 African champions have got to evolve and part of that is introducing the technical expertise of someone like Hamren who has coached the Swedish national team and won league titles in Norway, Denmark and Sweden.The last two Technical Directors at Sundowns were Mike Ntombela and Angelo Tsichlas. Motsepe was also clear that Hamren is not here for the head coach position but to help transform the club structures.
