The South African Football Association (SAFA) has parted ways with its Head of Referees Peter Sejake after he was found guilty of match fixing. SABC Sport has learnt that the decision was taken last week after SAFA concluded its investigation into the allegations of match fixing and corruption leveled at Sejake after the ABC Motsepe League national play-offs that took place in Bloemfontein in 2016. Sejake’s departure now opens the way for SAFA to replace him with a new HOD for Referees. SABC Sport journalist Velile Mbuli has been following this story and has compiled this report.
