Ajax Cape Town have announced few changes to their technical team ahead of the 2017/18 PSL season. Having served as Stanley Menzo’s assistant this past season, the experienced Mich D’Avray moves into a new role as Head of Football, while Boebie Solomons joins the club to fill the role of Menzo’s assistant. With the club having already brought in Hans Vonk as the new Head of Youth, where he will be assisted by Foppe De Haan, Efstathiou is looking forward to having Solomons on board, and believes Solomons’ knowledge will only benefit the club. Both Solomons and Crowie are former Cape Town playing legends, with Solomons a star for Cape Town Spurs in the seventies and eighties, while Crowie starred for Santos in the eighties and nineties.
