Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela says playing Chippa United at the Mbombela stadium poised a lot of challenges for them because of The Chilly Boys’ combinational play. Although Amakhosi won 1-0 in the remaining last five minutes, thanks to substitute George Lebese’s goal, United had more ball possession than Chiefs. Komphela says he reckons that his team had better scoring opportunities but his strikers were wasteful in front of goal-posts. The Naturena based team has now gone 12 games unbeaten and ironically, the last time Amakhosi lost a game was against Chippa in December last year. Komphela heaped praise on Lebese despite the winger’s lack of game time at Chiefs this season. With six games to go, Komphela says it doesn’t matter how you accumulate points at this stage of the season.
