Mamelodi Sundowns have expressed well wishes to their colleagues and teams in the 31st edition of 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. The prestigious tournament, to be held in Gabon over a four-week period, will see 16 teams compete in the biennial international men's football championship where the winning team will qualify for 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia. ‘Downs Communications Coordinator Thulani Thuswa says it is important for everyone to represent their country and they are proud to have two of their players being called up to contribute to their country’s success. Thuswa says that Zimbabwe and Uganda stand a good chance of making it far in Africa’s major football tournament.
