Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo says it’s going to be a good challenge for his side as they take on Mamelodi Sundowns in a PSL clash at the Cape Town Stadium tonight. The Cape Town side has struggled this season, but finally picked up their first win in their last match, a 3-2 victory away against Platinum Stars. Sundowns, who were recently crowned CAF Champions League champions, will be on a high after their comprehensive 5-0 win over Highlands Park on Sunday, but Menzo says that while they respect they are a big team, they’re only human, and they’ll be up for the game. The former Holland and Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper, who took over from Roger De Sa last month, says he believes his players’ confidence is on the rise, especially after the win against Dikwena. Menzo says he gets the feeling his side is extra motivated to play against a big team like Sundowns. He says that it’s important that they believe in themselves, stick to their tactics and not fear Pitso Mosimane’s side. Menzo says that with Nathan Paulse and Rivaldo Coetzee back to full contention, and with no suspensions, he has basically a full squad to select from, with Toriq Losper the only long-term injury.
