The Gauteng Provincial Government will host the second edition of the Gauteng Champion of Champions tournament this coming Sunday at the Tsakane Stadium in Brakpan. The tournament is all about goodwill, with a prize money of R100 000 that the winning team will give to a charity of their choice. Bidvest Wits, Supersport United and Highlands Park will take part in this year’s event. Each team will play against each other for 45 minutes and the winners of the games will go head to head in the final at 5 pm. Gates open at 12 noon and the first game will kick off at 3 pm. The current champions are Supersport United, each game will last 45 miutes and if they do not score, there will be a dribble contest until there is a winner. This tournament is for charity, the team that wins walks away with R 100 000 and will give that money to a charity of their choice. Mogotsi says it is important to give back to the need, challenging every team in the PSL to also give back.
