Ajax Cape town CEO Ari Efstathiou is delighted to bring Mayambela back home to Cape Town, and it’s a fantastic signing for Ajax. The urban warriors announced the signing of Mark Mayambela Tuesday the 30th of August 2016. Efstathiou says it is fantastic for the Khayelitsha fans of Ajax, as Mayambela is a one of the favourite sons of the township and the Ajax head coach Roger De Sa says that he feels Mayambela’s local flavour will bring something exciting to the club and he is delighted to work with him again. He says Mayambela is the type of player people pay to go watch and will bring a lot to the young Ajax team.
