Mamelodi Sundowns have advanced to the MTN 8 semifinals after beating neighbours Supersport United 3-1 at the Loftus stadium in Pretoria yesterday. Wayne Arendse, Sibusiso Vilakazi and Khama Billiat were on the scoresheet for the Brazilians, while Kingston Nkhatha scored a consolation goal for United. Mosimane says their cross town rivals bullied them in the early stages of the match.Mosimane also added that he was wary of United’s threat in the set pieces and aerial balls. He also emphasized that the pitch at Loftus was not conducive for their style of play. Sundowns will now play against Chippa United in the semifinals. The Eastern Cape team completely outplayed Platinum Stars on Saturday to book their ticket to the last four. Mosimane was full of praise for Dan “Dance” Malasela’s team.
