While the jury is still out on whether Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler’s contract will be renewed or not, Bucs defender Happy Jele speaks very highly of his coaching abilities, saying he deserves a second chance at the helm of the Soweto giants. Uncertainty surrounds Tinkler’s future at the Parktown outfit following his side’s a dismal showing in the 2015/16 Absa Premiership season, which saw them finish the just completed season seventh on the log standings and without silverware. Jele believes if given another chance Tinkler will deliver. The Buccaneers are still mum on the future of the former Bafana Bafana midfielder, there’s been media reports claiming that former Nigerian national team coach Stephen Keshi is due to take over the coaching reigns at Bucs. The former Super Eagles mentor signed with Tim Sukazi’s sports consultancy firm QT Sport last month, thereby confirming claims that he’s hunting for a coaching job in South Africa. Other unconfirmed media reports claim that Italian tactician Giovanni Solinas, who left Free State Stars at the end of the season citing personal reasons for his departure, is also keen on taking over from Tinkler
