Veteran Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane was on the verge of crying when he was shaking hands with Amakhosi supporters for the last time as a Glamour Boy. Letsholonyane says his eight-year tenure at Naturena was memorable since his arrival from relegated Jomo Cosmos in 2008. Letsholonayne was speaking after playing his last game against Chippa United which they lost 2-0 thanks to Buyani Sali’s first half strike and Lerato Manzini’s second half goal. The 33-year-old Soweto born midfield maestro has won every domestic silverware available on offer starting with the 2008 MTN8 where he scored the decisive winning penalty in their 4-3 win over Mamelodi Sundowns after a goalless draw in 120 minutes. Letsholonyane says he is grateful to Amakhosi’s chairman Kaizer Motaung and manager Bobby Motaung for giving him the opportunity.
