Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to break their 65 points record of two seasons ago, when they tackle Bidvest Wits away in the second last league match wednesday night, the 11th of May 2016. The Brazilians wrapped up the league last week when they beat the University of Pretoria 3-0 in Pretoria and are currently on 65 with two matches still remaining against the Wits and Platinum Stars. If they win the last two games they will smash Kaizer Chiefs points haul of 69, which is the PSL record set last season. Coach Pitso Mosimane says that even though they do not want to lose against the clever boys, who pushed them all the way for the league glory, it will not be a grudge match but they will pull out all the stops to win and do a favour to other teams that still want to finish on a high.
