Mamelodi Sundowns clinched their record seventh Absa Premiership title in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) era and 10th overall (since 1985, from old NSL) when they hammered relegation threatened University of Pretoria 3-0 at Tuks stadium in Pretoria last night. Whilst all the focus has been on the CBD (Castro, Billiat and Dolly), Mosimane reserved some praised for one of their unsung heroes this season Hlompho “KK” Kekana. The Brazilians midfield kingpin has been inspirational for the Brazilians this season featuring in 27 league matches. Together with Laffor, they have won four league titles apiece and Mosimane has special praise for Kekana. When Mosimane first won the league title with Sundowns in the 2013/2014 season, he missed out on all the other trophies but this time he’s completed a double having won the Telkom Knockout Cup in December last year. He’s achieved all of this playing only a limited number of players from September last year and he singles out his star performers.
