Senegalese national team captain and number one goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul has set his sights on linking up with a Premier Soccer League club but he’s running impatient because of an offer from a European club. Coundoul arrived in the country on Tuesday with Issa Sarr’s agent Dennis Idrissa and attended a Nedbank Cup match between Orlando Pirates and Tornado FC at Orlando stadium the following day. The 32year-old who played against Bafana Bafana in the AFCON last month, spent years in the US where he studied and played in the Major League Soccer for New York Red Bulls. Should Coundoul sign with a local side it will send a strong statement about the quality of players that the PSL is starting to attract from the continent.
