Bafana Bafana survived a nervy last 10 minutes to beat Sudan 2-1 and qualify for the 2015 African Nations Cup at Moses Mabhida stadium yesterday. Two goals from Thulani “Cream” Serero and Tokelo Rantie were enough to secure the South African senior men’s national football team their first AFCON qualification since 2008. Bafana now move to 11 points after five matches and continue to top Group A. It was a first win at home, first goal at home, first goal conceded in this qualifying campaign and also first AFCON qualification in six years.
