The Chief Executive of the Football Association of Malawi (FAM, Suzgo Nyirenda has confirmed that their national team, the Flames will host Mali and travel to Addis-Ababa four days later to tackle Ethiopia in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers. In an exclusive interview with Coudjoe Amankwaa, Nyirenda disputed claims of an indefinite suspension of the national team’s training camp for the double-header ties in Group B against second-placed Mali at home and an away trip to Ethiopia. Nyirenda revealed that his organization embarked on a fund-raising campaign to raise the needed funds and its all systems go. Malawi are third in the group with three points and badly need wins in the final matches to secure a spot in the final in Morocco. SABC Sport journalist Coudjoe Amankwaa reports
