Coming on the back of two back to back defeats in the Absa Premiership, VV now believes that an appearance in the Ke Yona final will guarantee them the trophy. In his previous spell with Kaizer Chiefs in the country missed out on the league title but won two consecutive Telkom Knockout titles with Amakhosi. Following a smash and grab 2-1 win over Sundowns on Saturday night, the Serbian says they are not far away from some silverware this season…

The semi-finals draw will take place at the PSL offices at noon today, joining Pirates in the hat will be the defending champions Chiefs, Bidvest Wits and Maritzburg United.
