Contractual renewal negotiations between Kaizer Chiefs and their top striker Lehlohonolo Majoro have reached a deadlock and the player has decided not to re-sign with the club. Majoro has only started two leagues games for Chiefs this season and came on as a substitute in seven matches out of the 12 games played so far. It’s an alarming stat for a player that has always managed to reach double figures in the goal scoring charts in the past three seasons. Sukazi doesn’t hide it that one of the reasons Majoro is refusing to re-sign is due to lack of game time…

Majoro joined Chiefs from Amazulu in in July 2011 for a reported fee of around R3.5million. Motaung says the fans should understand that if the Bafana Bafana striker is deciding to leave it’s not the club’s decision but his personal decision…

Supersport United who it turns out were also behind the collapsing of the deal between Chiefs and Ajax Cape Town for the services of Lebogang Manyama are also believed to have approached Majoro and his camp unofficially. But Sukazi has vehemently denied this as he knows that approaches by clubs before the stipulated time for outside negotiations are illegal…

Speculation is rife that negotiations between Supersport United and Majoro’s camp are at an advanced stage.
