Dresden’s story is one of unblocking cognitive dissonance. She always had big questions about faith and God, but found herself in a marriage and later a church, where questions weren’t only discouraged, but weren’t allowed. After getting a divorce, she found herself at wits end trying to reconcile all that was in her head, and, one day she became interested in LSD, and its ability to shake things up in the brain, gave it a shot, and through that experience and the processing it prompted, she has now found a new and real sense of Jesus and faith in her life.
