  • Self-compassion is not complacency. Actually most of the time when hyper-achievers have lower performance, it’s because they are being hard on themselves, not because they are being kind to themselves.
  • To practice self-compassion: celebrate your wins, and talk to yourself as you would to your best friend. Reframing your thoughts makes a huge difference!
