A member of the Airpusher Collective, she has played alongside Lubelski, DJ Dan, The Crystal Method, Golf Clap, Andreas Henneberg, Purple Disco Machine, Christian Martin, and Gabriel & Dresden to name a few. You can catch her at many Burning Man and underground house music events up and down the West Coast, especially in the Bay Area and her hometown of Santa Cruz.

Such a blast opening for Beat Kitty! My favorite sets are ones that have a bit of a challenge or a twist, and this one was a great exercise at transitioning from bangin' house to deeper bass-y grooves. Life stuff is making it so I can't go out as much as I used to, so I really appreciated the opportunity to play for such a warm and fun crowd, and to reconnect with my burner fam. Can't wait till next time :)

Submission for FnF 2024!---Playing Daybreaker at Grace Cathedral was incredibly meaningful for me on so many levels. Growing up singing in church choir was my first connection to music, so being able to DJ in a house of worship (in my wedding dress!) really brought my musical journey full circle. I thought deeply about what to play, and decided that it was really important to play soulful, uplifting house music, the music that unapologetically spreads love in the face of judgement, the music that was created (and still is) to bring fellowship to so many Black, gay, and other marginalized groups when organized religion did not support them. For so many, house music IS church — the only church where they feel 100% loved and accepted for who they are. Bringing these seemingly two diametric opposites under one roof was a powerful experience and I’m so grateful to Daybreaker and Grace Cathedral for making it happen. My support set for Andreas Henneberg at the E Komo Mai Festival at the historic Mariana Sailing Club in Honolulu! Really fun to walk the line between tech house and a little bit of tribal house fun. Playing in Hawaii at a music festival was a surreal experience and I will cherish the memory always!
New Year's Eve 2020. This was the opening set for an amazing evening which had a 3 hour throwdown from The Crystal Method, and later I got to b2b with Sean Raya to close out the night. The moment I walked into Halcyon for the first time, I knew I wanted to play there, because it's truly a no-nonsense, we came here to DANCE club with great people. I feel honored to have been a part of such a special night, and so grateful for all of the support from my friends and community!

Santa Cruz's yearly PreCompression campout, UnSCruz, is totally a hidden gem. But the word's getting out -- we had 1300 people this year... it's growing a LOT!
I got to play a lot of fabulous music (3 sets!!) at UnSCruz this year, but my favorite really is the ampitheater Sunday afternoon. It's sunny, warm, everyone is tired and happy from the weekend's festivities. I love playing some funky and fun and beautiful tunes for people to pack up to, or procrastinate packing up to :)
Holding it down for 2+ hours — it was sooooo fun to play such a wide variety of tunes! Thanks to my Santa Cruz dancing maniacs for letting me take you on a wild and sometimes wacky musical journey.
I hella love Oakland. This evening ended up being very emotional for many reasons, most notably because it was in Oakland the night after the Ghost Ship fire.
People there had lost friends, and the entire dance community was in grief and pain. But, we all showed up anyway to do what we do best --- dance our asses off. And I danced like a maniac that night.
What an honor and a privilege to meet the fun Frolic crew, and to be able to play some uplifting tunes to help hold the spirit!!

I just am so humbled and in love with the Santa Cruz Burners. This Burner Happy Hour was just UHMAZING. So amazing in fact that I played for 2.5 hours straight...something I haven't done in a long time. But we were all dancing and having so much fun I couldn't stop! Thank you for your fire, your joy, your unabashed RADICAL self expression. It's special. I know it, you know it, we both know it. Believe me.

My submission for Dirtybird Campout and Feather River 2016. I asked what they were looking for and they said, "Something different." I don't know if it's different, but it's different for me. I play a lot of Dirtybird, so the trick was to find songs I love with that vibe without relying on MY BOYS! It was a challenge but I believe the best projects can come from having constraints. I did cave and added one Justin Martin track because the transition was too good. You'll see. Anyway, hope you enjoy, this was a fun challenge!

This is the mix I was hoping to play on Playa for my 10th Burning Man. But even better — I ended up spending my time with my dearest friends in the world instead. Instead now I get to share it with you!
Trying something new this time, I did a rolling commentary in the comments section, follow along if it suits you. Some songs are old, some new, some borrowed :). I hope in the dark of night and cold of winter this mix will bring you back to that breathtaking moment when the sun rises over the Black Rock Desert.
I'm taking off to Burning Man for my 13th time tomorrow. And over the years I would spend a good amount of time leading up to the burn making a mix, burning it on onto CDs, and handing out to people as gifts. This was my gift for 2009...i even included some sounds of the playa on there that I had recorded in 2008.
I'm a house DJ, but my soul is also deeply rooted in trance, progressive, and I guess what the kids call these days "deep house" or "playa tech." I was a candy raver, and I still am at heart. I have never really been able to be one of those "too cool for school" DJs, no matter how hard I try. I love joy, I love those moments where you feel free. And the Playa Dreams mixes were made to reflect that feeling.
So if you're headed out to Black Rock City, or not, hope you enjoy some old school trancey sounds, and are transported. 2009 was a good year and I'm so glad to be still heading out to the playa in 2019, DJing for some of my favorite camps! It's a dream come true, really!
