Which are you receiving from the Lord - the gentle dew falling down from Heaven, or His justice raining down upon you? Our answer depends a lot on our disposition, and our actions.

Like the Blessed Virgin Mary, will we be ready, and vigilant, and prayerful in our expectation and longing for the coming of God into our lives? Or will we rather be something else entirely, so wrapped in the things of the world that God's coming seems like a harsh rain falling upon our lives?
