This part of central Mississippi remains under a Level 2 “slight” risk of severe weather today. The National Weather Service says the main threat will come from late morning through this evening, with damaging winds, tornadoes and large hail possible. We could see gusty winds up to 40 miles an hour before the storms arrive. And there’s a limited threat of flash flooding.
