Most of Mississippi is under a Level 1 “marginal” risk of severe weather today but a Level 2 “slight” risk has been posted for the eastern edge of the state. A fast-moving storm system could produce damaging winds and hail and the National Weather Service isn’t ruling out the possibility of a tornado.
