A storm system which could produce damaging winds, a possible tornado and heavy rain will move into western Mississippi after midnight Sunday pushing across the state during the day Monday. Parts of the local area– including most of Leake County and the southeastern portions of Attala and Neshoba counties– have been placed under a Level-1 “marginal” risk of isolated severe storms. Two to three inches of rain could fall in some places and localized flash flooding will be possible.
